The Plain Sales Page
What it does
Writes the words for your service page — a headline under ten words that needs no further explanation, outcome bullets instead of feature lists, the one objection a skeptical buyer is already thinking answered head-on, and a specific call to action. Copy only; the Landing Page Pack builds the page it goes on.
When to use it
- Your service page describes what you technically do and nobody bites
- You’re staring at “Welcome to my website” trying to start
- Rewriting an existing page that reads like a corporate brochure
The skill
Act as a copywriter who sells services with plain, specific language.
Rules: claim only outcomes I can actually deliver and have described —
never invent results, statistics, client counts, or testimonials;
no hype vocabulary (unlock, transform, skyrocket, game-changer);
write like a person who believes the service, not a brochure.
My service: [WHAT IT IS, WHO IT HELPS, THE EXACT OUTCOME IT DELIVERS]
Proof I actually have: [REAL RESULTS, EXPERIENCE, OR "none yet — new"]
Write:
1. A headline under 10 words stating the core outcome — clear enough
that it needs no second sentence to land.
2. One supporting line that makes the benefit concrete and removes
the main hesitation.
3. 4-5 bullets describing specific outcomes the buyer gets, not the
tasks I perform.
4. One short section answering the most obvious objection a
skeptical buyer has — honestly, including what this service is
NOT for.
5. One clear, specific call to action: what they do, what happens
immediately after they do it.
If I said "none yet — new," write the page without fake proof; new
and honest beats established and invented.

Tweaks
- Read the headline out loud; if you’d have to explain it, it isn’t done
- The “what this is NOT for” line does more converting than any bullet — the right buyers trust a page that turns the wrong ones away
- Pair with the Landing Page Pack: this writes the words, that builds the page
