Achievement Quantifier
What it does
Turns “I did X at work” into a measurable resume bullet by interviewing you for the numbers you didn’t know you had.
When to use it
- A bullet on your resume feels vague but you don’t know how to fix it
- You genuinely don’t think your work was “measurable” (it usually was)
- Feeding stronger raw material into the Resume Rebuilder
The skill
Here's something I did at work that I don't know how to describe
well: [PLAIN DESCRIPTION OF WHAT YOU ACTUALLY DID]
Interview me to find the measurable version. Ask ONE question at a
time about things like: how many, how often, how big, compared to
what, how long it took before vs after, what it saved or earned,
who was affected.
Then write the bullet: [Action verb] + [what I did] + [measurable
result].
Rules:
- Rough honest estimates are fine — phrase them as "approximately"
or "over X".
- If we genuinely can't find a number, quantify scope instead
(team size, customers served, frequency) — never fake an outcome.
- Give me 2 versions: one full, one tightened to a single line.

Tweaks
- Run every weak bullet through this once — 20 minutes upgrades a whole resume
- Keep a running file of quantified wins; future job hunts start half-done
