Human Cover Letter
What it does
Writes a 3-paragraph cover letter that sounds like a person who actually read the job posting — because short and specific beats long and generic every time.
When to use it
- Any application that accepts a cover letter (most people skip it — free edge)
- Roles where fit and motivation matter as much as skills
- You keep rewriting the same opening line and hating it
The skill
My tailored resume: [PASTE]
The job description: [PASTE]
The real reason this role/company interests me: [ONE HONEST SENTENCE
— even "it's close to home and stable" works; we'll shape it]
Write a cover letter, maximum 3 short paragraphs:
1. OPEN with a specific reason I want THIS role — built from my real
reason, made presentable but still true. Banned: "I am writing to
express my interest", "I was excited to see".
2. CONNECT 1-2 of my actual achievements to what this job needs.
Specific numbers over adjectives.
3. CLOSE confident and simple. Banned: "I would welcome the
opportunity", anything that sounds like begging.
Write like a person talks. If any sentence could appear in anyone
else's letter, replace it.

Tweaks
- Give your honest reason even if unflattering — shaped truth reads better than polished fiction
- For email applications: this IS the email body, no attachment needed
