The Sell Something Pipeline

What it does

Chains six skills into one path from "I have skills" to "people pay me, more than once": pick the offer, build it, price it, fill the pipeline, run the conversations, then sell again to the people who already said yes. For a normal person selling a normal service — not a funnel empire.

What you need

  • Honest inputs: your real skills, real hours, real numbers. The chain is only as good as what you feed step one.
  • The six skills: First Thousand Plan, Offer Builder, Price Check, Lead Engine, Sales Conversation Builder, Customer Value Ladder.

Setup (one time)

1. First Thousand Plan — if you're starting from zero, this picks THE offer and does the target math backwards. Already selling something? Skip to step 2 with what you have.

2. Offer Builder — restructure the offer around the value equation: clearer outcome, more believable, faster, less effort for the buyer. Output: deliverables, an honest guarantee, a plain pitch.

3. Price Check — pressure-test the price against the buyer's cost of doing nothing. Output: your tiers and the one-paragraph price presentation. Do not skip this because the price "feels fine" — feelings are how underpricing survives.

The workflow (weekly rhythm)

4. Lead Engine — run your two chosen channels on their weekly quota. Track the 3-number scorecard, nothing more.

5. Sales Conversation Builder — before each call or DM thread, review the discovery questions; after each one, note where the conversation died and feed that back into the skill monthly. The conversation improves by iteration, not by rereading.

6. Customer Value Ladder — after every delivery, one rung: the natural next offer at the natural moment. The second sale to a happy customer beats ten cold DMs.

Maintenance habits

  • Monthly: re-run Price Check with your newest real numbers. Prices drift stale silently.
  • Monthly: paste one real (anonymized) sales conversation back into Sales Conversation Builder and ask where the structure broke.
  • Quarterly: re-run Lead Engine — the right channel mix changes as you grow.
  • Always: when a step's output feels generic, the input was vague. Fix the input, not the skill.
